Great balance of story & spice. I can't wait to learn more about the lore of the fae workd created here. Also give the guy a chance, the later books will give more context to his past choices. Promise.

with the book title I thought this was going to be another basic beauty and the beast retelling. but I was delighted and hooked as of chapter 5. I was surprised at how entertaining this story became 10/10 recommend

I really wasn’t sure that I liked this book when I first started it. I kept listening to it while I worked as a way to drown out the background noise. I found d myself stopping often to listen to the story and couldn’t stop listening after about 1/2 way through. I was the beasts biggest fan by the end.
