I'm focused, homed in on my goals, but there's no way not to be distracted by Aviana Maguire. There's something about her standoffish demeanor that makes curious. When she disappears, like she never even existed, I'm forced into action.

Just great stories.
Love this series. All the stories are different. The characters are wonderful! The narrating voices are to die for.

Book 1 Kincaid and Emilyn's story can break your heart, it also can be triggering if someone has been physically abused.
Book 1.5 You need to skip to this one which they place at the end of the set, which makes no sense. This was actually my favorite of the books. Lots of action in it
Book 2 Felt somewhat wrong to read. Borders on inappropriate for me. Respect for Kid's restraint but still feel 6-7 years difference and Chloé's age of when they start just feels wrong.
Book 3 Shadow and Missy's story is sad in the beginning.
After so many hours of listening to different writers and different stories of MCs, Marie James is handsdown my favourite writer all around.

Not a fan
I thought these guys would be so hot and yes the spicy scenes were great. But for ex military men who pride themselves in taking dangerous secret military contracts to usually save women who have been kidnapped into sex trafficking, you would think they would have a high respect for women but nope.
Book one was the best of these 3 as she was more age appropriate. But book 2 was jail bait 17, and book 3 joked about a man in his 30’s liking them young she was 20 the first time they hooked up then 21 the second time then he was so horrible to her when she showed up unannounced with his baby. There were so many red flags 🚩
