Saw Live ... equally EXCEPTIONAL!!
I was fortunate to hear Madame Trudeau in Niagara Falls in 2019. It was a forever memorable moment for me. This book is a longer version of that same presentation. Even more impressive!!! A very admirable woman and story. Well done Madame Trudeau , thank you for sharing your fascinating story.

Interesting, Insightful Talk! Great Wisdom!
I really liked the tone and pace of this piece. I especially appreciated Mrs. Trudeau sharing her thoughts on dealing with loss (that it takes five years to 'get over' losing someone), sleep (heals the mind), dancing as good exercise, mental health awareness and advocacy, and her saying "Fuck you!" to the haters, naysayers, and opponents. It was interesting to her it from her! I wish that this would have been longer than an hour, because I liked listening to it and she was tackling some pretty heavy, important subject matter towards the very end, but it is a good summary and well-organized.

Heartwarming & Charming
I was surprised it was a 'live' recording at 1st. However, that did not detract the charm for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story & performance. Thank you Margaret!

Sadly, sounds like she learned a script by heart
I thought this was okay, but not as good as her book Changing My Mind for a couple of reasons:
- she is live on stage and it comes across like she is acting to a script, which is in fact what she was doing. and not just telling her story, which is fascinating on its own,
- there is of course that 21st century enjoyment of profanity to make a point, which we all need like a hole in the head, never mind telling the audience to join you in yelling f-u out loud three times... really?
That having been said, it is a touching story she tells of different times in Mental Health and what she's been through in her life, with some funny moments, and a FANTASTIC definition of depression, which she gives towards the end.

Fascinating and Brave
I have always had a soft spot for Margaret Trudeau. When living in Ottawa I had the privilege of knowing people who either knew, or had met, her. While I was never that fortunate, the insights gained from friends who had, painted a picture of a wonderful and caring person. People who met her - some reluctantly - because they were taken to an event or dinner, came away loving her. Margaret's honesty and insights into herself, and the people she has met, continualy enrich us all. This play is just another example.
Must say her comment re Mick Jagger was perfect. :-) Loved many apects of this audio. Too many to review. So glad she had the courage to do this. One star was lost to the nervous laugh too often.......perhaps unfair, as this had to be super hard to do. Thank you Margaret and all who were on this team.
