With his hometown reduced to naught but ashes, Meteo flees north into the Golden Forests of Rodain to attend Father Jenkins' School for the Wayward where he meets Ling, an Elf girl with a hidden agenda. Together, Mateo and Ling will have to master their mysterious powers to stop their kin from going to war with each other and bring peace to Rodain.
