Charlottes Web was a great memory with Meryl Streep reading to me
An old remembered book narrated by Meryl Streep is a captivating listening experience. The story comes alive through the audiobook with flowing narrative which kept me wanting to never put it down.

You can't go wrong!
Zero problem finishing this book with my 5 and 8 year old children. Meryl Streep's performance and the other cast we're absolutely fantastic and made the book a completely new experience for me. I highly recommend this audible book.

Delightful version
Meryl Streep's narration is charming. The other characters are lively. My 5 year old daughter is a big fan of this version. I would only comment that Avery along with Charlotte's 'babies' have obviously older voice actors and, because of this, they don't flow well with the other characters. It would also be nice if there were a few more atmospheric noises in the story. But a very nice version overall!

Some pig.
I was fairly "meh" about this book when I was a kid. I recently heard that the audio version was a full-cast rendition with Meryl Streep doing the narrator's part, so I got it and listened to it. Still doesn't take me past "It was ok", but I did like the audio version, although it was apparent that Streep's narration was recorded separately and the other voices added later, which made some oddly jarring disconnects between the voices, as when the rat character says something in a fairly neutral tone, and Streep snarls, "said the *RAT*". Clearly neither actor knew how the other was interpreting that bit. I call that poor directing and/or poor editing.
