Good narration

Just as good as the first book
Really enjoying this series. The narration by Bahni Turpin, sets this series apart, I want to hear this narrator on other books.

I still thoroughly enjoyed the sequel, it just did not hit the same emotional chords as the first novel.

Riveting!!!
Tomi Adeyemi leaves you speechless with this second installment of the amazing series.
Bahni Turpin's performance is nothing short of magical bringing every character, every mountain range, every shore, every castle, every salacious moment to life.
You become one with this novel that takes you on a roller coaster of magic, deep love, friendship, worship, commradery and untold betrayal. I was left questioning all of my emotions at the end. My goodness! What a ride!!

The story: Riveting
Narration: Was a piece of art, Masterpiece.

Wonderful continuation
This was a great continuation from blood and bone though I feel the "dedication to those killed" has been lost now.
I love the Magic and wonder of the world the characters develop well and you see the progression without it being forced down your throat.
Adeyemi uses a number of phrases repeatedly that stand out as repetitious that I felt should have been changed to something else. But realistically that's a very minor grievance. I don't agree with some of the character choices but their reasoning makes sense for those characters.
The performance was great and had me in tears at times.
I was not a fan of the ending though. It sets up for the next book but in too much of a TV season finally kind of way.
