Being kidnapped by aliens is only the start of Jade's problems. Thankfully, her rescuers, an alien race known as the Clecanians, are willing to protect her, but she has to stay on their planet for one year and respect the rules of their culture - including choosing a husband. Jade refuses at first but decides to play along until she can find a way back to Earth.
Theo, a scarred mercenary who prefers a life of solitude, is stunned when Jade selects him as her husband. After years of being passed over, he never imagined he would be chosen and neither did anyone else. Only one explanation makes sense...the curvy enticing female must be a spy, and Theo's determined to break her cover using any means necessary.
As Jade and Theo are forced to spend time together, their chemistry becomes undeniable. But neither can afford to bring love into the equation, especially since Jade seems determined to go home. After all, she can't possibly stay here, right?

Narrator’s woman voice is AWFUL but when he growls like Theo it’s all okay again :p

This is one of my favorites!
I really loved this story, I have listened to it three times already and will listen again. The narrators were just as good..Thank you!

Great story dark and steamy
Great story ... amazing book in the series or as a standalone. Narrator Stephen Dexter brought a dark and steamy energy. Passionate and funny from start to finish can't wait for the next book.

Great narration
I liked the book, I loved the audiobook. The narrator was perfect as Theo and surprisingly his “female” voice was not bad. Those growls, goodness me. Definitely recommended giving this a listen.

Loved it. Jade and Theo are amazing characters 😍. A lovely HEA story and I can't wait for book 2!

had me laughing, crying and squealing like a highschooler.
I honestly love this book! it's spicy in some parts, heartbreaking in others & most importantly it made me laugh!
I related to the characters and their pain, the story was beautiful.. I'm not a romantic but some parts made my heart skip a beat!
I definitely recommend this book, I can't wait to read/listen to the others!

Great world, interesting characters
The reader did a great performance, the story and the world are interesting, but a few things are left without answers at the end (ex: what happenend to the evil character).

I loved this story wish there was an other book on Theo and jade.
I loved this story the romance was awesome. The sex scenes were really good. I would give this book five stars if I didn’t have a cliffhanger at the end. I wish there was an other book on just Theo and jade I wanna know what it’s like the relationship with the baby. Also along with Theo and jade. Can you please get a book with the continuation of the relationship of Theo and jade please.

Made it one of my Favourites
I already really loved Choosing Theo when I read it on Kindle but I enjoyed it so much more in audiobook. Stephen Dexter’s performance made it so much better that Choosing Theo is now in my list of Favourite Books.
