As rumors swirl that his old master is coming back, Alex comes face to face with his misdeeds in the form of a young adept whose only goal is to get revenge. Alex has changed his life for the better, but he's afraid of what his friends - including his apprentice, Luna - will think of his past. But if they're going to put themselves at risk, they need to know exactly what kind of man they're fighting for...

The turning point

In this series this book is where feel things start to turn. Friendships are strained because of the past. Truths come out, motives, and the ending sets the stage for the next part of the story. The other stories are great but here forward Alex has to change his ways from reactive to proactive. This change keeps me invested.

Got on Sale. Was worth the price. Very much enjoy Dresden Files. So if you enjoy I would recommend.
