Ellen Kauffman’s younger sister Nancy is walking a dangerous path. Smitten with the divorced father of one of her nursery school students, Nancy has become deaf to Ellen’s warnings. Ellen will do anything to save her sister from being shunned. So, when Mark Otto, the man Ellen secretly loves, declares his interest in Nancy, Ellen sets aside her feelings and does all she can to help him.
Ellen prays she can save her sister and get over her feelings for Mark by the time Christmas arrives. But when Mark begins to volunteer at the Kauffman bakery, it is an uphill battle. Being around Mark so frequently has only increased her affection for him. Not only that, but when a massive snowstorm hits, and Nancy spends time with the divorced father of her student, it appears all of Ellen’s efforts were for naught.
Yet, the magic of Christmas can still have its way—can’t it? Will Nancy end up changing her path? Will Mark’s eyes finally be opened to Ellen?
