There is a new kid named Dexter who has managed to have such a profound influence over her friends that they are all looking and acting very differently. Cilla has to decide what she is willing to do and how much she is willing to give up to please her friends.
The story is in lyrical rhyming text that is fun to read dramatically aloud, great for family reading sessions. It is an educational tool for building vocabulary with an extensive glossary and index in the back. The glossary definitions define the words specifically as they are used in the story. The book is also intended to help new English language learners.
