Great book, female narrator is attrocious
I am a huge shadowhunters fan, I own and read the physical books, watched the series and movie, now listening to the audio books, in this particular audio the female narrator is terrible, she mispronounces a lot of things which I feel she should have known, it makes more sense to get to know a story line before performing it and submitting to ensure you're correct, I also don't feel she has the right voice for these books.
I was fine with the male narrator overall.

if they didn't mispronounce things I'd enjoy it more, it's like they've never read or watched the series. it's not hard to just quickly Google search how to say things or watch the movie/show

I haven't even finished the book
I am on the first chapter and the narration is so horrible that I don't even want to listen to it. I LOVED the first 3 books and the narration. Each person had their own voice, you could hear each word being spoken. The man's voice sounds like he is stoned out of his mind, has an accent and is in a low tone. Everyone sounds the same. I have a hard time figuring out who is talking. The woman's voice is high pitched and everyone sounds the same. I am sooo disappointed and will be returning this book. Don't waste your money buying this, just read the book yourself.

book great...readers..
Loved the book as I do with the while series. I have an issue with the female reader...not right for the job. She did not have a variety of voices to give the characters and she would change the way she pronounced something from one chapter to the next. She made Lady Lilith sound like a whinny teenager. The way she portrayed Clary made me almost not like the heroine. Her french to Spanish accents all sound alike...no differention.

Book is great, struggled with narration

amazing story

Another great adventure in the Shadow Hunter world
Suddenly a stell-eh is now a steal-ee. It was distracting and makes me miss the original narrator. I'm reluctant to get the next book, but I'm addicted to the story and the characters.

Male narrator's not the best
The male narrator's volume is lower then the femle's and he's not as clear. The back and forth from male to female narrators is not something I really enjoyed. I would have preferred it to be one narrator the whole way through so you can get used to them more rapidly. Instead you barely get used to one then you're switching to another. I have no problem with English accents but I don't find that the male readers accent was a very clear one for pronunciation.
Additionally the female narrator often mispronounced the word foyer, Idris and Stele. words that at least were used in combination about a hundred times throughout the book it makes me want to punch her in the face it drives me crazy.
