Great book, amazing performance
A rare, honest, and insightful look into the nature of sin, pride, and The human condition. Guidall did a fantastic job breathing life into the characters, making each feel unique and real. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the classics.

Highly Recommend!
This is one of the classics I'd been hoping to get to for some time and it was absolutely worth the listen. The narrator was spectacular. Every character was expertly done and I felt as if I was standing right next to each character as the story was told. The writing itself is incredibly descriptive and detailed. I would highly recommend this book!

It's a classic for a reason
Great descriptive writing combined with passionate narration is a powerful combination. The book itself is fantastic with well developed characters, story, and minute details. truly a book steeped in humanity the past seems so "otherworldly" and this book truly shows just how relatable and real peoples lives were in the past how they react to outrage, affection, criminality, and nobility. A truly deep book that truly shows just how easy and effective dehumanizing can be.

Work of genius

Better than expected!
Very long and so good! I'm not sure if it was the translator or the narrator, but this Russian classic was a compelling and fascinating examination of a deperate man's criminal act and the guilt and moral struggles that follow. It was published in 1866 and in many ways felt like something written in modern day.
