tough to get through

story is so unrealistic. the female main character is unbelievable and frustrating. the fake Italian accent is cringey and the fact that the main character never just told the truth is so far fetched. it was hard to get through because it was irritating. the plot had potential, at least it was something different but this wasn't for me.

Very Graphic Violent Sex

Hi big warning the violence in this audiobook is very graphic and terribly sick in nature. I do understand that the characters in the mob are very sick individuals I had to tune out for my sanity sake. I have been abused so it was too triggering. the woman in this novel just does not understand having unwanted arousal during being beaten and raped. Hello automatic reactions occur but this does not mean that the arousal is there because you like being abused it means that your body is responding to the stimulus, nothing more. If depraved erotica is pleasing for you have a great time. If depraved erotica is not pleasing for you save your money and don't buy this audiobook. Sincerely, George
