THE STORY

Can anything or anyone be trusted?
Told from Cypher’s own, unreliable point of view, this tale of truth, lies and secrets sees one of the Imperium’s most mysterious figures make war at its very heart. But what are the true motivations of the Lord of the Fallen?

Totally not Alpharious
If you're here to learn a bit about Cypher then you will be disappointed, this guy is more Alpha legion than Alpharious himself, it's a fun story though.

the writing and the voice acting are too tier
I was honestly blown away with how good the writing and the voice acting was. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Well i got more expectations for this book
There no new insight on The state of the 40k universe :( I was expecting to learn something but none. In the end I’m almost deceived that i listen to this one because usually John French deliver more news on the 40k universe in is book, nonetheless it well written and the narrator is really great but don’t expect to learn something.

Nothing to learn, but a lot to gain
Even if it's covered in secrets this story has a good twist at the end and tells you a lot about Cypher funny enough.
The Warhammer character series either is used to explain characters in the universe (go figure) or give updates on what they are doing in the modern 40k, and this book just wants to show you a little bit into the mind of Cypher.

Excellent narration. Great story with poor ending
Narration was exceptional. Story was interesting, but the ending just snuffed out all the enjoyment to the book and made it seem like a pointless endeavour.
