À propos de cet audio
An arsonist's twisted handiwork claims hundreds of lives in the roughest neighborhood in New York - Daredevil's turf. Daredevil digs up the root of the problem and comes up with a ruthless crime boss bent on brutally wrestling control of New York's underworld from the corrupt clutches of the Kingpin of Crime. The new crime boss' enforcer? The bloodthirsty Bullseye, master assassin with a pathological enmity for Daredevil. Bullseye takes to his work with deadly efficiency, killing his way toward the Man Without Fear. Daredevil is forced to ask for help from the Kingpin - his deadliest foe - before Bullseye's fatal obsession and an explosive gang war destroy the city he's sworn to protect.

Without Fear
The narrator (Dion Graham) tackles the neo-noir world of Daredevil with a voice that can melt butter. The story beautifully re-captures the "greatest hits" of Frank Miller's run on the character and yet is able to chart a course forward. Sure, many will just read this review and think "this dude's a total shill." But I am quite serious when I write this - especially in an era where comic books and superhero storytelling in print media is on a razor sharp decline. While this book was written in the mid-90s meant to tell a sort of epilogue/companion to a story originally published in the late-80s, the technological trappings of its time do not feel like a hindrance to the story, but enhance it. Most crime fiction in the age of 4Chan and cyber crime does not always feel gripping and stories that use said technology become more about the technology than the cat-and-mouse thriller. Fitting for a man who cannot see and doesn't have a billion dollars and a Batmobile to back him up.
5 Stars. As the late great Stan famously put it: "Nuff 'ced."
