À propos de cet audio
Like the "Dark Continent" of Africa, the dark island of Madagascar holds many chilling secrets. One of them is a long-thought extinct species of dinosaurs living at the country's core.
A massive earthquake rocks the mountain range within the Andringitra National Park. The splitting Earth reveals a network of tunnels, hidden away for millennia. Responding to the series of violent upheavals, a pack of hypersensitive predators flee their subterranean home; frenzied and hungry, they head for the surface.
Former Navy SEAL Ian Hunt begrudgingly accepts an offer to lead an exploratory team. What they uncover is the find of a lifetime... if they survive long enough to tell anyone.
Dinosaurs are alive and well at the heart of the dark island.

Still love this book.
I noticed people complaining about the underground worlds idea being overdone, but rating something down because of this is Ridiculous as you know it is that kind of story from the description! I think the author did an excellent job using Madagascar and it’s historical animals and such to base the story. It is the first I have read that uses this country for it, and was well done.
Really really wishing that there will be a second follow up book.
As for the narrator, did a decent job. Good at dramatizing the dialogue. Yes the kind of lazy laid back way of speaking he uses a fair amount is annoying but does not totally take away from the story. I will say his attempts at accents REALLY needs work. Australian that sounds more European English, European English that only sometimes sounds like it, and Malagasy accent that sound more African with touch of French and a touch of something else? None of which are consistent throughout. But again is still tolerable. He properly pronounces the Malagasy words but speaks them a bit to quickly compared to the rest of the words making some hard to catch. Again is still tolerable regardless.
Would definitely recommend this audiobook (and ebook) to others to enjoy.
