Loved it
A brilliant Epic Fantasy I've enjoyed since the late 80's. This is the first time i listened to it. Such a wonderful, rich story. The fem MC is awersesome!

A perfect performance of an enduring classic
I reread this series every two years and decided to try the audio book for a summer roadtrip. The performance was marvelous and made the voice of Lady Mara come alive.

7 hours in and nothing interesting has happened. it's all politicking and empire building. I sure hope this book gets better. seriously, I'm bored! The first 4 books were so good, the 5th book doesn't follow any of the original characters. In a world where magic is so prominent there has been none as of yet.
