Poignant, thought provoking, hilarious
I expected to laugh, but I didn’t also expect to cry. Especially when David described his love for Victoria. As a huge fan of British comedy, this book gave me insight into the life, love and laughter of a brilliant, witty man who is as endearing as he is sharp. Thank you David.

Intelligently sexy - as always
David Mitchell is the thinking man's sex symbol (if that particular thinking man were gay and had a thing for clever wit, fearless honesty, and devastating wordsmanship. I enjoyed every minute of getting to "meet" the real David Mitchell!

Intelligently written and beautifully executed
I found myself laughing out loud at this story. I’ve not really watched many of his shows but I knew of him from some tv work, and I’m glad I listened to his story.

An interesting book by an interesting author
I have always enjoyed watching David Mitchell on panel shows and his sketch shows were always great. now it turns out he's also a great author.
