Great story!
I love this series, and the 5th installment didn't disappoint! However I found the narration in this one wasn't as good; the narrator wasn't consistent with characters' voices and some were different than previous Sookie novels narrated by the same person. Still a great listen!

Narrative voice changes on this one
Johanna Parker changes her narration voice on this one. She uses what I'm assuming is her normal voice for the story and then adapts it a little for the character voices. I found it disconcerting to hear Sookie without her normal twang. Otherwise typical Sookie story and enjoyable :)
