Very interesting
I'm really enjoying these books by Stephen Puleston. He creates a well-developed character is Inspector Drake, who evolves and changes, or tries to change, over time, while not dwelling too much on the minutiae of his life, which in my opinion, can take away from the story itself.
Drake and his team have a difficult set of murders to solve involving the art world. Corpses posed in various tableaus which are tied to other pieces of well known art, start to show up in various places. Drake and his team need to find out how they are linked, and why the individuals are being killed.
Puleston writes in-depth characters and keeps you guessing until the end, while throwing out the occasional red herring, which mimics the real life dilemma of crime investigators who must sift through the clues to arrive at the truth.
