À propos de cet audio
From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Callihan comes a smart, emotional contemporary romance about finding love with the most unlikely of people.
As kids, they hated each other. Macon Saint was beautiful, but despite his name, Delilah knew he was the devil. That he dated her slightly evil sister, Samantha, was no picnic either. When they broke up, it was a dream come true: Delilah never had to see him again.
Ten years later, her old enemy sends a text.
Delilah's sister has stolen a valuable heirloom from Macon, now a rising Hollywood star, and he intends to collect his due. One problem: Sam has skipped town.
Sparks still sizzle between Macon and Delilah, only this heat feels alarmingly like unwanted attraction. But Delilah is desperate to keep her weak-hearted mother from learning of her sister's theft. So she proposes a deal: she'll pay off the debt by being Macon's personal chef and assistant.
It's a recipe for disaster, but Macon can't stop himself from accepting. Even though Delilah clearly hates him, there's something about her that feels like home. Besides, they're no longer kids, and what once was a bitter rivalry has the potential to be something sweeter. Something like forever.

A Sweet Slow Burn
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Heat Level: 🔥
As a newcomer to Kristen Callihan's work, I finally pulled "Dear Enemy" off my towering TBR pile, courtesy of Kindle Unlimited. And let me just say, it was worth the wait.
This enemies-to-lovers romance had me hooked from the start. Delilah and Macon's childhood animosity simmered into something unexpectedly beautiful as the story unfolded. The slow burn between them was deliciously agonizing, keeping me turning the pages late into the night.
What I adored most were the familiar dynamics between characters who have known each other since childhood. Their banter was both hilarious and heartwarming, adding layers of depth to their relationship.
The plot, centered around a stolen heirloom and a reluctant partnership, provided the perfect backdrop for their rekindling connection. And let me warn you, be prepared for some serious emotional punches. I found myself shedding tears, and yes, even ugly crying, as the story reached its poignant conclusion.
Overall, "Dear Enemy" is a captivating read that seamlessly blends sweet romance with undeniable chemistry. It's a testament to the power of forgiveness, redemption, and the possibility of love in unexpected places. If you're a fan of enemies-to-lovers tropes, this book is a must-read. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Two sides of the same coin.
Am not going to give away or put spoilers out there for this book, ruins it for me usually. The author does have talent and is edited to perfection. This book is more about banter/mind foreplay then fighting, so the dialogue had to be spot on, which it was. Their differences brought them together and the importance of forgiveness of self and others are key but take work to achieve. Self love was a combine effort in “ Dear Enemy “. Great character development, both leads were strong personalities but to me their were somewhat injured souls looking for comfort from one another which for me was fun at times, intriguing always and highly entertaining. It was a well drawn out plot, so the story packed a bundle of great obstacles. Not heavy on the smut which can over take a book’s essence and become the main event over and over, so this book had more story then sex, which I definitely prefer. Of course the narrators were excellent and they harmonize to my liking. I enjoyed the past reconciling with the present. And of course, love finding its way back to each other.

Good romance
Childhood enemies to lovers who are now living together? Hell yeah count me in! First one I have read by Kristen Callihan and I plan on seeing what else she has because I had such a good time with her characters, Macon and Delilah.
