Enjoyed it
This is a great segue way into the new series. It seemed there were a lot of characters and names to remember for such a short book, but overall it was worth the purchase. I’ve loved all the books so far. And Catalina appears to be an interesting protagonist.

loved it!
I liked the shorter format for getting to know Catolina. She is coming into her own. I look forward to see how the relationship will progress once she meets her handsome Italian count again.

loved it.
As someone who recently survived a wedding I loved getting to see the background action of Nevada and Rogen's wedding. My wedding was thankfully less exciting, but the authors have a talent for writing believable family interactions. Purchasing this novella isnt necessary, but it does offer a satisfying transition to the next Baylor books.
I enjoy Renee's narration, but I also really like the new narrator. The transition was done well and isn't at all jarring.
This book falls into the 'cozy' category for me; the main plot line is not surprising, but there is enough going on that I was never bored. There were funny bits, serious bits, squee worthy bits and an overall sense of satisfaction. I'm looking forward to Catalinas books with anticipation.

Nice transitional Novella

I did enjoy this between series arc, but I have to admit that I was kinda of lost at the end since so much happened so fast. It was nice to see a conclusion for Nevada and Rogan and it was a good character introduction for Catalina. The dialogue was fun and if not for the small stakes I probably would have had a stronger reaction to it. That being said I am definitely looking forward to the next one.
Audio: I'll miss Renee but Emily is just as good and brings new energy to the characters.
