À propos de cet audio
Are you struggling with your Christian identity?
Before Jesus (BC - before the death of Christ), we had to live subject to the consequences of Adam and Eve’s sin. Now, in this AD (after the death of Christ) era, our lives are a consequence of Jesus’ finished work. Let me say that again. You get to enjoy the consequences of Jesus’ finished work. So, for example, when sickness comes and the troubling thought that you somehow caused it or brought it upon yourself comes, remember that you aren’t subject to the consequences of a fallen identity. Honestly, it doesn’t matter if it was your fault. You’re subject to the consequences of Jesus’ finished work.
Your life is about dealing with the fallout of what happened on that cross. You know when you were a teenager and you made a mistake? Then, you spent weeks berating yourself as you dealt with the fallout of your decision. Well, in the same way, if you have confessed Jesus as your savior, then you have to deal with the fallout of his finished work. You have to come face-to-face with access to abundant life, the consequence of his actions.
How do we do that? We practice abiding!
Discover Your Identity in Jesus’ Words - Christian meditation and affirmations focuses on Jesus’ words while he was here on earth. The following is a rumination on Jesus’ words. That simply means taking Jesus’ words and thinking about them. Focusing on them, chewing them over and over again until you get all the glory out of them.
Jesus is the most important figure in human history. He’s also the most important person in your life. I don’t have to know who you are, where you’re from, who you’re related to, or what you’ve been through to know that Jesus is the single most important person in your life. That being said, his words are life-changing. Let’s find out how his living words can impact your life today.
