Good insight, confirmed by other sources.
In humint (human intelligence) you need to determine the veracity of what the source is telling you. You look at the information itself AND the source. Cohen was in a position to acquire the information revealed. Much of the information is confirmed by other independent sources, agencies and direct observations. It gives a lot of nuances and insights about Donald Trump, his capabilities, intentions and methods. HOWEVER, although he admits to being and acting as a reprehensible "fixer" you will find - especially towards the end - Cohen spinning his tale to cast himself as victimized. Read/listen to this book - with Woodward's - to get a nuanced idea of how DJT operates, the danger to the Constiturional Republic and what is probably yet to.come.

PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!
My daughter , a young lawyer , said “Mom
you have to read this book and I can’t put it down.” She was right! Michael Cohen came
to realize too late he was under the “Cult of Trump” and takes full responsibility for everything he did as he tried to please him. Well written, mesmerizing and easy to follow. It was in the same league of one my all time
favorite books Bill Browder’s “Red Notice “ about Russian oligarchs controlled by Putin stealing the majority of the Russian state assets . Browder was also alleged to have committed crimes by the Russian
State and was the subject of Putin’s wrath as was Cohen of Trump’s but Browder did not behave badly like Cohen.
Whatever your political leanings are PLEASE read this and before the election to

Creepy how well he called the election reaction
I do have respect for Michael Cohen after reading this book and it is disturbing how he predicted Trump’s reaction to losing the election. Although he is not innocent in the slightest and engaged in dirty business tactics; this book is a needed truth in a time when truth is being challenged and downplayed as fake.

An honest account of Michael Cohen's wrongdoings.
Great storytelling. Honest and raw! I think Michael is aware of how his family suffered as a result of hischoices but I hope they can all heal together and overcome this horrible ordeal! Michael has attoned for his crimes by admitting his part in the scandal...now if only others would come forward!

Leaves You Numb
A recounting of the workings behind the fake facade of Donald J. Trump. Unimaginable that virtually everyone in DJT's orbit is treated as nothing more than a rung on a ladder to who-knows-where!?! I say "who-knows-where" because there seems to be no limit to the depravity that is the currently the US Presidency and that country's Republican Party. Shamefully disgusting!

He does not try to excuse himself
Well written and documented. He does not appear to excuse his actions and those of other trump followers. I’ve read several of the tell all’s but this one comes off as a cathartic release. We have observed first hand so much of what is written here so there is little doubt in the stories told. Excellent read
