The Zimm Industries procedure has changed the face of murder investigation, and field technicians are routinely called upon to bring dead victims of violent crime back and interview them. One field tech, Matt Freeman, has been at it for a while, now. Matt discovers that there's another side to Dr. Zimm's formula, and he finds himself caught in the middle. It's a dangerous, diabolical use of the new technology, and Matt soon learns there is more to life than just staying alive. Matt talks to dead people for a living, but the hard part now is, not becoming one of them!
