Way to preachy for a post apocalyptic emp book.
First off, the story is decent.
Then it gets totally sidetracked by bible verses at the beginning of each chapter. The author may be risking losing readers. I like the story, but don’t want to be preached at like I was throughout this book. I wonder if the rest of his books are like this...

Excellent!!!
I'm more spiritual than religious and an absolute Liberal! This audiobook is excellent. Very well written and had me listening to half of it in one day. Looking forwards to more work from the author.

Great author and book series
Mark Goodwin is an exceptional author. This book series was worth the time listening to. I first purchased it on Kindle to read and then purchased the audio.

Very timely.
Good story,, and I learned a few things about survival. I enjoyed it very much. It suprised me, when it abruptly ended, because there were a few issues in the story, that had to do with one of the other communities, that were left unresolved.
But,, that's kind of a minor thing,,, so don't let that deter you from enjoying this story

Well worth the time.

Very Christian
I was looking for. An EMP survival book and was not aware how much religion was going to be in the book. Made it to chapter 3. I could not get past all the preachings

Only reason I got this book was for Kevin Pierce as he is one of the best narrators out there. The story isn't bad but way too much Bible crap and scripture. don't bother

I love the survival genre....but not like this.
Kevin Pierce is one of my favorite narrators. This book is MUCH to religious for my liking. Constant quotes from the bible and every decision made by the characters is based on God.
I could only listen for a few hours then could take no more. Its really too bad as I love EMP and survival stories. Especially lengthy ones like this box set.
