Exciting Start of new Series about British India

William, a London Dock wharf rat steals from the wrong person and escapes certain death by stowing aboard an East India-man heading for India. When discovered, he is allowed to become a seaman; but after a Pirate Attack; his talents are recognized by an officer in the East India Company. As William confronts many adventures; he gets noticed by Richard Wellesley, the Governor General of India and his famous brother Arthur. The characters are well developed; the adventures exciting. As soon as I saw a new audio-book by Griff Hosker, I stopped listening to another excellent book I was listening to. I finished this exciting page-turner within a 24 period. I sure hope there will be a Book II in the series
