À propos de cet audio
It is the time of the great elven city of Cormanthor, when the Heartlands are home to barbarians, wicked dragons rule the skies, and the elven people trust no one. Wizards and warriors alike threaten their civilization in vain, arrogant, and ignorant quests for glory.
Thus it was that Elminster was guided to Cormanthor, the Towers of Song, where Eltargrim was Coronal. There he dwelt for 12 summers and more, studying with many mighty mages, learning to feel magic and know how it could be bent and directed to his will.... It is recorded that when the Mythal was laid, and Cormanthor became Myth Drannor, Elminster was among those who devised and spun that mighty magic.

Good story
It's a good story. interesting to see the second chapter of the tales of Elminster is very focused on magic, where his first was learning more mundane skill sets.
This story still suffers a little from pretending how people used to talk, such as "ye's and yay's" to give it the pseudo middle ages sound. It also spends a lot more time than needed on some of the intrigue, over explaining the thoughts of relatively minor, short-lived characters. There's also some weird rape-y scenes that felt a little unnecessary to detail.
All in all though, it may have been a bit dry to start, but picked up as it went along. The epilogue was less an epilogue and more of the crowning final chapter.
(spoiler) One last beef is that Elminster's twenty years of education barely paid off. The end, critical scenes seems to be more about Mystra intervening than Elminster using his new knowledge which she has been charging him with learning. Once, maybe twice is ok but it happens several times in the final chapters.
I'll keep listening for sure!
