The only hope of getting things back on track has been buried throughout history, pitting Jericho and Icarus against one another in a time-traveling race.
Despite the warnings from Sybil, his Partisan, and the all-knowing Cortex, Jericho knows the only way to stop Icarus is to kill him—an impossible task since Paladins aren’t supposed to be able to fatally harm one another. But, if Jericho can’t somehow stop the madman, then existence will collapse around him as the mighty cogs of time finally grind to a halt, buckling under the weight of total annihilation.
