Beautiful stories
There’s nothing more soothing than listening to the charming and talented narrator reading James Herriot. Love all the books, my favourite audiobooks of all.

Wonderful!
Just as beautifully narrated, funny and endearing as all the other books by James Herriot. There's no music in this one, but just as hard to put down as all the others!

Another great listen
Listening to James Herriot’s recollections of his veterinarian career is always a heartwarming treat and Christopher Timothy is the perfect narrator.

Another Great Book by James Herriot
I love the narration by Christopher Timothy in all the James Herriot books . He really does a superb job of the accents of the Yorkshire Dales . I love going back in time when life was simpler and people were honest yet kind most of the time. I have often found myself laughing in my car as I listen to James as he makes his witty observations not only about animals but also their owners as well as his colleagues . Its so heartwarming to listen these stories .

Absolutely Loved, Heartwarming!
'Absolutely loved it! Absolutely love the whole series! Such beautiful stories, so heartwarming! Such a pleasant read. Christopher Timothy is an excellent narrator and can do all the accents and vernaculars, a very good choice. Will definitely read the whole series again!
