Bringing your lessons to life
I had the pleasure of meeting Pastor Mel Mullen and his wife Heather a few years ago when they visited Oasis City church in Duncan. His book, “Experience Jesus and His Church,” has impacted me on a level that I did not think a book could.
Pastor Mel takes us on a journey through his personal life, his experiences within the church and his growth as both a Christian and a leader. In this book, Pastor Mel teaches us how to strengthen our church, knit a cohesive team together so we can grow and sustain our growth while meeting the needs of the community we are serving. He writes in a down to earth, easy to understand dialogue that is brought to life using the true-life stories of so many people whose lives were forever changed by their interactions with Pastor Mel and Heather. This book explains many Biblical truths and shows how to put them into practice in our modern-day world.
I am grateful for the way that Pastor Mel’s words have moved me into a deeper relationship with the Lord, his church and whatever Jesus has in store for my future within his church.
