À propos de cet audio
This book is an attempt to motivate the listener to climb onto the path of mental wellness and, subsequently, a happier and more fulfilled life. It aims to help those who simply do not know where to start when it comes to improving the quality of their lives, and at the same time, it aims to familiarize those who are unaware of the intricacies of mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety, with the factors involved in both, and what they can do to limit their symptoms.
This book is by no means a guide for those looking to get a professional diagnosis of any sort. As mentioned in the book, it is important that people suffering from depression and anxiety see a therapist, get a diagnosis, and start medication if necessary. This book, instead, is simply a recourse for people who may be going through tough times and who may need some inspiration to start working on themselves and on making their lives happier.
The book explores a number of themes pertaining to mental health, including tips on how activities such as regular exercise and meditation can help an individual lead a more mentally fit life. It also offers advice on what people who live alone can do to reduce symptoms of loneliness that may emerge as a result of their situation. The book also briefly dives into the impacts COVID-19 has had on mental health, and the steps we, as a global community and as individuals, can take to help us make it through this difficult time.
The ultimate hope is that this book is able to help its listener navigate the pitfalls of mental illness and the factors associated with it and then use that knowledge to lead a better life.
