Beautiful story of redemption
I heard Annie's testimony years ago now while going through an online search of ministies. Her ministry Hookers For Jesus was the first one I had heard of that was helping women out of the sex industry. I imagined how amazing it would be to work with them and have been wanting to read her book for so long. For years it hurt my heart to see how these hurting women seemed to find no mercy from the church. I was thrilled to hear Annie's story of redemption on Audible once again but was heartbroken to hear of all she endured. This story is graphic in parts of the abuse Annie endured but necessary as she is candidly honest and very brave.

A difficult listen
This book is vulnerable, emotional and raw. It is a rare window into a woman’s perspective in the ‘game’ during this era. For many of us, it is hard to wrap your mind around the harshness and violence of pimps and this culture, but understanding that piece helps illustrate how the cycle of abuse works in this environment. Thank you Annie for being courageous enough to share your story.
