Slightly disappointed in a favourite author.

I enjoy most of Jennifer Crusie’s novels - I can listen to them time and again.
This, unfortunately, was not one of them. Stage story was fun - but predictable. There seemed to be conflict after conflict after conflict.
This isn’t one I’ll be listening to again.
I would definitely recommend “Bet Me”, “Manhunting”, and “Maybe This Time”. I’ve listened to each of those at least three times and enjoyed them every time.
