À propos de cet audio
The war against the Kesaht Alliance enters its final days, and Earth is losing.
The Terran Union must launch one last desperate assault to save itself, but the enemy is legion and ready to crush the battle-weary human forces.
Earth needs the Ibarra Nation to join the fight, but Stacey Ibarra has other plans.
She hunts for a super weapon that will forever alter the balance of power in the galaxy, all the while her mind teeters on the brink of insanity. Roland, her loyal Armor soldier, must decide if she can be trusted to wield the Ark, or if she’s too dangerous to rule the nation he swore to defend.
Gideon, his hatred of his former lance mate as white hot as ever, waits for his chance to exact revenge against Roland for his betrayal.
Can old vendettas be forgotten? Can the Iron Dragoons reunite to save us all?
The second Ember War series rockets to its epic, and tragic, conclusion!

Too cheesy, too messy, too confusing
Once again I am not a fan of this narrator I usually rank narrators from 1 to 10, RC Bray being number one, Scott Brick being ten. This narrator is about 6.5-7. he's not able to put enough distinction into most of the characters so that you can recognize them right away except for Agnar (which is easy) but put enough effort into it but you don't get confused who's talking halfway through conversation.
As to the story, it's obvious that everything was planned out in the characters favor and planned out poorly. to many Hail Marys and conveniences ruin the spell of the story. I also understand this is science fiction, but is leaning more towards science fantasy, I personally enjoy a story where there is some scientific accuracy and logic in the characters strategic and tactical planning. making decisions that are obviously going to fail.
As to the plot, it's pretty dumb, for anti spoiler sake I'll narrow it down to one point. EVERYTHING ABOUT SAINT COLLINS MAKES NO DAMN SENSE. A crippled soldier that died doing her Duty as a soldier is revered as a deity, in the distant future. It is probably explain why somewhere, in one of the books but I still can't wrap my head around it like. I said it makes no damn sense.
So in conclusion. The characters are cheesy the plot is messy and confusing, this could be contributed to the narrator but I honestly think it's both the narrator and the writer.
