His fiddle literally became the instrument of his redemption from stress-induced mental illness. His story is a tribute to the strength of the human spirit and the power of love.

This 20th-anniversary edition is an "author’s cut”, incorporating expanded content and a new foreword. The author's original title Fiddler’s Joy has been restored, and the new cover shows the actual fiddle on which the story is based.
