I enjoyed it enough to finish it. But I have to say, my least favourite book trope is miscommunication/no communication. Drives me bat 💩 crazy.

Absolutely Brilliant
What an amazing story! I loved both MC’s from the beginning to the end. And their love for each other was so pure that everything in the universe got together to make sure they found one another, including trying to kill them. Their third act was worth every minute.

The duet narration was chef’s kiss—each character came to life so vividly, adding an immersive layer to the experience. The smut was perfectly balanced—steamy without overshadowing the story. The plot itself was fantastic, with just the right mix of emotion, tension, and chemistry. I was completely captivated from start to finish and devoured the entire book in under 12 hours. I genuinely couldn’t put it down. I’m already counting down the days until the next book in the series drops!

I absolutely loved this book so much!
This book was a lot deeper than I thought it was going to be. The FMC has a crazy back story and the MMC has some past trauma he really needs to deal with.
It all begins with a one night stand, that of course turns into more, when they are finally forced to talk about some miscommunication that comes up.
Then there is a whole survival side that takes place, that adds so much suspense.

A Top Listen of 2025
I have been impatiently waiting for this audio book. Cal and Scottie are 🔥. Both Brandon Francis and Savannah Thomas are new narrators for me and they did not disappoint. They were the perfect match for Cal and Scottie! I love a good miscommunication mishap and a previous playboy that falls head over heels. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Spicy
The audio quality was fantastic with the duet narration. Nice and spicy. I don’t know if I’ve been reading too much romance lately, but I was ready for the book to end. It was a good story though. Lots of details and energy, just feel like I maybe needed a palette cleanser before jumping into this.
