À propos de cet audio
Ce que les critiques en disent
"We live in a world of constant distraction. One of the biggest problems plaguing our society is mind clutter and overwhelm, with no end in sight. Alexis Rockley's great new book provides the very necessary tools to cut through all of the noise and find the calm that we are all so very much in need of. To that I say, 'F*ck yeah!'" —Erin Falconer, co-owner of Pick the Brain and author of How To Get Sh*t Done
"So many people want to reinvent their lives but they get totally stuck. Alexis Rockley breaks down the science of how that happens, while providing readers with the tools to break through the self-sabotaging sh*t that's holding them back. Want to start living a kick ass life on your terms? Start here." —Sara Bliss, author of Take the Leap: Change Your Career, Change Your Life
"Alexis Rockley brilliantly marries science and soul to create the message: You matter. The specific combination of genetics, environment, and experience that makes you who you are has never happened before, and it will never happen again. So don't f*ck this up. Find your f*ckyeah." —Dr. Venus Nicolino, #1 Los Angeles Times and USA Today bestselling author of Bad Advice
This is a fantasic listen. A rallying call to action to incite the inner creator within us all. When an author puts their heart & soul into their work not just by reading the book themselves but making sure every line is delivered with poignant clairity & enthusiasm it's energy is something that inspire me to create content of equal calibre.
My only piece of constructive criticism would be to see how the stories told between chapters can build on themselves so that the process of reading through "finding your fuck yea" can compound instead of feeling like it came to an abrupt close by chapter 12.
That aside there are a wealth of insights I got from reading this book & would recommend it to anyone dealing with feeling uncertain about leading with creativity. Read this book and you will get dust off most if not all of the reservations keeping your authorship at bay.
