Meh

This just felt so dragged out and the dad drama was so random. I didn’t expect the ending, I’ll give you that. I just wasn’t really into this book, the main character bothered me.

always amazing

great story. keeps you on your toes, guessing what is going to happen next. The narrator is also great.

Scary but emotional mystery

This mystery by K. L. Slater was scary - every parent's nightmare. I kept searching for who dunit, and was completely surprised when the answers were exposed. The epilogue was really quite relatable and emotional. Good job!

another great listen from an amazing author. narrator amazing voice as always.

It was an interesting story ...

I think this book lagged a but in parts with endless wandering thoughts but the mystery was gripping..the twists were unexpected and it was an overall good read but for a book about Grace,she wasn't even a secondary character. There plot holes were too many in how it ended. The main character is disappointing. She 2as so naive and kept falling for the same crap. In the end she wasn't triumphant based on her resolve or change in being brave...nope..she was saved. Ugh. Still good.

Not the best from a great author

If you’re looking for a better story from the same author, which is also a free listen, listen to Liar instead! The narrator is the same and excellent in both books. But this story wasn’t as well thought out and the motive of the crime truly makes no sense at all, very badly explained and illogical. There’s a loose end that also doesn’t really get explained (the slap). Not the best from a great author :)
