Pretty good
The only reason this is a 4 star book is because its no Mistborn, but it's pretty close. The story continues and Brandon Sanderson's writing improves. Definitely buying the next book.

Sparks! I Almost Didn’t Listen but I'm Glad I did!
This is a much better book than Steelheart. This book stands on its own two feet, excluding a scene where a plan is written out on a blackboard this is very different than Mistborn. The plot is much deeper than the first book in the series.
McLeod Andrews improved as a narrator. Once again, he made David come to life. As I said before, his comedic timing and his voice really went well with David’s character. In this book he did a better job voicing the female characters and there weren’t the “cut ins” where it sounded like he re-recorded a section as his voice got louder and his pitch changed.

Totally wicked
Great book, even better reader! Amazed once again with Brandon Sanderson, every one of his books exceeds expectations! Finished it in two days and started the next the same evening

I could not recommend a better series.
Once again, Brandon Sanderson outdoes himself. I can’t wait to listen to Calamity. Andrews is a fantastic narrator.

Really fun book

Better than book 1?
The Reckoners series is pretty unique and I think this book is even better than book 1. Did I see it coming? yes. Did I enjoy it anyway? Absolutely.
