À propos de cet audio
As I passed 40, I noticed that many of the fitness gains I was so proud of having achieved ten years prior were slipping away. Because strength gains had such a profound positive impact on my life when I was 30, improving my mood, confidence, and self-esteem as well as boosting my energy, I was terrified of losing my fitness. Worse, I viewed it as a progression towards inevitable decline, despite knowing Master's runners and gymnasts who had kept their lifestyle up through middle age. I didn't think it was impossible for everyone to do that. I just thought it was unlikely for me, as a person who had difficulty restricting calories and who also had a past experience of being overweight. My attempts after the pandemic to regain my fitness recently met with success after many failed starts.
This book is for anyone who is overwhelmed by the aging process or the fitness process. It is a reminder to not give up, and to dig deep to find your inspiration. It's out there, even if it isn't easy to find.
