Flames of Valor is the premier installment in the epic fantasy trilogy The Path of Ascension. The story focuses on a heroic pair, Navara and Erick, who each have their own flaws to overcome in addition to fighting the darkness that is creeping over the land. Loyalties will be tested and the shadows of the past creep back into the light. They will either face their fears and stand resolute together or be crushed by the weight of impending doom.

Wait…magic and dragons are real? Children’s tales become reality in the fight for survival. The legends of magic and dragons re-emerge in the wake of plague and bloodshed. Myths are re-discovered as truth. A heroine surfaces in the most unlikely of places, Navara, a master thief with the hidden talent and a secret past. She allies herself with the crowned prince of Tarien, Erick Dryadson. Together they battle an invading hoard with a powerful dark sorcerer. Navara’s reckless free spirit clashes with Erick’s formal political station. Along their journey, they discover that the threats run deeper than they could have ever imaged and the stakes are high.

How in the world am I getting charged for this?

40 minutes into the book and all I want to do it listen to a educational book! A great read for those that really should be ding something else. I don’t know wether it’s the story or the person reading the story but by Elgar the worst book I’ve read in a decade. WTF?!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
