Great Book
captivating!! I loved the old lady. Had a hard time putting this book down. sounds mean, but I wanted her journey to never end. lol

Incredible story
I read this several years ago and it stuck with me. Happy to find on Audible. An incredible and properly researched historical journey telling of territorial battle, brutality, family ties, human spirit and determination. Well written and well performed. Based on a true story, gets somewhat graphic but that’s the way it happened. Very real, fascinating

A wonderful story of survival...
This truly is a testament to the human spirit to never give up! I also found David Drummond’s narrative performance outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Captivating Story
