Ajahn Chah
À propos de cet audio
Renowned for the beauty and simplicity of his teachings, Ajahn Chah was Thailand's best-known meditation teacher. His charisma and wisdom influenced many American and European seekers, and helped shape the American Vipassana community.
This collection brings together for the first time Ajahn Chah's most powerful teachings, including those on meditation, liberation from suffering, calming the mind, enlightenment and the "living dhamma". Most of these talks have previously only been available in limited, private editions and the publication of Food for the Heart, therefore, represents a momentous occasion: the hugely increased accessibility of his words and wisdom.
Western teachers such as Ram Dass and Jack Kornfield have extolled Chah's teachings for years, and now listeners can experience them directly in this book.

Excellent! Perhaps a bit more well-suited to some amount of meditation practice
In general, this an absolutely stellar book on the topic of core Buddhist ideas and teachings—and, as part of them, the integral, fundamental, and essential element of meditation practice. In terms of potential demographics for this book, I would strongly recommend it to people with a current meditation practice to help reflect on their practice and as fodder to continue to develop practice in a meaningful way. In no way does this mean that appreciation of the book is limited to that group, but as an introductory text it may be somewhat challenging to meaningfully engage with some of the material for those with no or limited direct personal experience with meditation practice. I would still highly recommend it to anyone who is open to and interested in developing a new meditation practice.
