À propos de cet audio
The revolutionary productivity system trusted by more than 25,000 professionals. Get more done and get your life back.
Many professionals work as many as 70 hours a week, leaving little time for rest, exercise, family, and friends. Work is invading their personal life. The common understanding of productivity has failed these professionals.
Most think productivity is just about getting more done at a faster speed. But it's not. Productivity is about getting the right things done.
New York Times best-selling author Michael Hyatt has created a total productivity system that's much more than endless box checking. Proven by more than 25,000 professionals, this system helps overwhelmed leaders achieve what matters most so they can succeed at both work and life.
In his latest audiobook, Free to Focus, you'll discover how to:
- Redefine your work so it works for you
- Filter your tasks and commitments
- Cut out the nonessentials
- Eliminate interruptions and distractions
- Set boundaries that protect your focus and drive results
- Leverage your time and energy for maximum productivity
- Build momentum for a lifetime of success
In Free to Focus, you'll learn the three-step system to achieve more while doing less.

How to Stop Feeling Like Sh*t is a straight-shooting self-improvement guide for women, one that offers frank advice about the most common self-destructive behaviors women engage in. Andrea Owen—a nationally sought-after life coach—crystallizes what’s behind several invisible, undermining habits, from catastrophizing and people-pleasing to listening to the imposter complex or to one’s inner critic. Powerfully on the mark, the chapters are short and digestible, nicely bypassing weighty examinations in favor of punch points of awareness.

Overwork is the new normal. Rest is something to do when the important things are done - but they are never done. Looking at different forms of rest, from sleep to vacation, Silicon Valley futurist and business consultant Alex Soojung-Kim Pang dispels the myth that the harder we work the better the outcome. He combines rigorous scientific research with a rich array of examples of writers, painters, and thinkers - from Darwin to Stephen King - to challenge our tendency to see work and relaxation as antithetical.

Read People like a Book isn’t a normal book on body language or facial expressions. Yes, it includes all of those things, as well as new techniques on how to truly detect lies in your everyday life, but this book is more about understanding human psychology and nature. We are who we are because of our experiences and pasts, and this guides our habits and behaviors more than anything else. Parts of this book are like the most interesting and applicable psychology textbook you’ve ever used. Take a look inside yourself and others!

Speaks to a Specific Audience
If I had found this book before Essentialism by Greg McKeown, I might have enjoyed it more. And If I worked in a corporate / office setting, I might have found his tips and templates helpful. But I am not this audience. I was looking to be bathed deeper in the purpose and value of this mindset, but couldn't get through this book. I also signed up on the website to take a quiz he offers and while I understand I was consenting to receiving more info via email, it was an overwhelming daily flood of email marketing that felt out of line with the focused, essentialist mindset I was seeking.
That said I would recommend Free to Focus to one who might find Essentialism to be too "philosophical" and wants a more practical perspective they can use in a (specific) workplace setting. Those in creative, manual or other fields might appreciate the ideas presented by McKeown better. He will most certainly NOT flood your inbox. It goes against everything he teaches.
