I really enjoyed this second book in the series. The mystery to be solved was unusual and had such a very lovely conclusion I had tears running down my face. Isabel carries on struggling between her moral ethics and deliberating on her choices and then succumbing to her humanity and right royally puts her foot in it ... something I love about this character as it makes her relatable. The usual side characters are there and some new ones to keep things interesting. Isabel gets to ponder unrequited love along with many other subjects. Davina Porter does a fabulous job of narrating and I am so pleased she did this series before she retired.
