The New York Times bestselling security droid with a heart (though it wouldn't admit it!) is back in Fugitive Telemetry!

No, I didn't kill the dead human. If I had, I wouldn't dump the body in the station mall.

When Murderbot discovers a dead body on Preservation Station, it knows it is going to have to assist station security to determine who the body is (was), how they were killed (that should be relatively straightforward, at least), and why (because apparently that matters to a lot of people—who knew?)

Yes, the unthinkable is about to happen: Murderbot must voluntarily speak to humans!

Again!

Performed by David Cui Cui, Gail Shalan, Amanda Forstrom, Aure Nash, Bradley Foster Smith, Chris Stinson, Christopher Walker, Eric Messner, Jenna Sharpe, Joel David Santner, Julienne Irons, Ken Jackson, Khaya Fraites, Michael Glenn, Michael John Casey, Nazia Chaudhry, Scott McCormick, Stephanie Németh-Parker, Wyn Delano, Yasmin Tuazon and Zeke Alton.

For those used to GraphicAudio then it comes as no suprise that this is another solid performance with great atmosphere added by the Full Cast. The main narrator (David Cui Cui) does a great job at getting into the mind of our favorite SecUnit, and the level of sass and sarcasm he delivers is amazing.

The pacing is very good, though I will note it's not *quite* Unabridged. A few lines here and there are omitted (not just the usual he said, she said that is obviously removed with a full cast recording that are just not needed when you have established voices for each character), but nothing that's incredibly important for the story as a whole, and definitely less than 10% of the total story. If you've listened to the other Graphic Audio productions for Murderbot, this one definitely omits a bit more, but that's expected since this book is about three to four times as long as the others.

The entire Murderbot Diaries series is a good pick for you if you enjoy humorous, action filled sci-fi with a decent sprinkling of the more technical elements (descriptions of how the tech works, etc) and indirect worldbuilding that is built upon by the character simply referencing things like social structures, politics, and colonization/corporations matter-of-factly as if the listener already would be familiar with them.

I devoured this book and moved on to the next very swiftly. This book canonically takes place after Book 4, so it threw me a little in the reading order when I jumped from 6 to seven, but it was easy to move back into the story overall.

Out of Order Chronologically, but that Tracks
