Murderbot in the open
Murderbot is now living openly as a rogue Secunit. Typically humorous story about my favourite cranky protagonist. This most recent story takes place before Network Effect so listening order of the series matters. I'm eagerly waiting for more Murderbot as promised by the author, although there is no specific date about when it will be released. The narrator's wry and sardonic performance nails the character.

Great murder(bot) mystery
I’ve loved all of Martha Wells’ Murderbot Diaries, but I think this one is probably the best. Great combination of Murderbot snark and good old fashioned deduction. A new favourite!

Love me some Murderbot Diaries
Murderbot Diaries mostly a series if short Novellas about a rogue SecUnit, who has hacked its modulator and now tries to figure out how to live life free.
It is full of angst and anxiety but also is learning that not all humans are bad.

Murderbot Murder Mystery
Book six in the MURDERBOT DIARIES sees our beloved sec unit begrudgingly working with humans on a strange murder case that leads into conspiracy.
No matter how many of these books I listen to, I never tire of Murderbot’s attitude and rapier wit. Listening to him talk circles around humans is an absolute joy.
Like the novellas before it, Wells manages to pack in a sharp, action filled story with charm and humor. This is such a bingeable series and I never want it to end.

Another Murderbot you won't be able to put down!
Another fantastic, page-turning addition to the series. I loved how the bots showed solidarity and support to each other. I hope future books will explore this aspect of the world more. As usual, Kevin R. Free's narration is impeccable.
Note: chronologically, this book takes place between books 4 and 5.

Short & Fun; A Good Addition
Still one of the best sci-fi series out there. This one is a murder mystery. I love the dialogue and narration and Murderbot's character in general. This is short story compared to some of the others, but it is no less fun and a pleasure to listen to.

Disappointing in both story and length.
The story was is redundant at this point in the series and gives no real character development. Not sure how the author gets away with charging this price for an audiobook that is both lacking real story and such a short length. Disappointed.

not my favourite MBot story
narration excellent as ever, somewhat saves this outing. Previous Murderbot stories have been plot driven; this one not so. It’s a closed room mystery with the regular sass and snark but no action = boring.
