When Emily and her best friends, Laurel and Nicole, discover an ancient mummy in a forgotten sarcophagus, their curiosity moves them to unwittingly remove the sword impaling the cadaver. In doing so, the girls have released an ancient evil, one that is wicked beyond words and bent on vengeance. Besides this, the mysterious black slime this resurrected monster has released in the surrounding crypt has the power to reanimate the long dead!
Meanwhile, Michabo Middle School is about to put on its annual art exhibit and talent show, where the girls plan to unleash the full potential of their talents. But with a brewing army of undead ready to swarm, and with Emily’s cornball father, Lincoln, secretly plotting to surprise his daughter by performing freestyle rap for the entire school, things are about to go terribly wrong.
