À propos de cet audio
Using bisexuality as a frame, Go the Way Your Blood Beats questions the division of sexuality into straight and gay, in a timely exploration of the complex histories and psychologies of human desire. A challenge to the idea that sexuality can either ever be fully known or neatly categorised, it is a meditation on desire's unknowability.
Interwoven with anonymous addresses to past loves - the sex of whom remain obscure - the book demonstrates the universalism of human desire. Part essay, part memoir, part love letter, Go the Way Your Blood Beats asks us to see desire and sexuality as analogous with art - a mysterious, creative force.

This Is The Best Book On Bisexuality
I found myself engrossed in both aspects of this book. Both the philosophical perspective on sexuality and the touching stories that ring out like poetry. This is no joke pretty much the only book I've found on the topic of bisexuality that isn't some kind of smut novel (not that there's anything wrong with smutty books, but it shouldn't be only thing that explores the topic). It's a beautifully thoughtful book that makes some strong points on the inherent problem with labels and assumptions and I find myself cherishing the ideas.
Harrison does a fantastic job narrating every part, completely flawless. This book really does hit a nerve of compassion and comradery with me. I hope if you do decide to listen to it you enjoy it just as much.
